Data Access Incorporated specializes in IBM mainframe-based products that enhance the value of OpenVMS systems.

In 1986, Data Access Incorporated developed the IBM mainframe-based portion of Digital Equipment Corporation’s Data Transfer Facility, DTF. After 18 years, the product is still in use at over 100 of HP’s largest customer installations.  Data Access continues to serve as HP’s engineering support organization for this product.

DAI’s newest product is Mainframe Gateway for OpenVMS.  This IBM mainframe based product can replace any of HP’s current SNA Gateway products:

• Works with all OpenVMS based SNA client products
• No changes are required in OpenVMS applications
• No changes are required in IBM mainframe applications
• Uses TCP communications between OpenVMS and IBM mainframe systems
