History:

Data Access Incorporated was founded in 1986 with a charter to develop and support the Data Transfer Facility.  In conjunction with Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP), Data Access Incorporated developed the mainframe component of the Data Transfer Facility product.  This product has been in use at over a hundred mainframe sites for over a decade.   Data Access Incorporated has served as the engineering and level 2 support organization throughout this period.

Data Access Incorporated operates as a part of its sister company, Systems & Communications Sciences, Inc.  Systems & Communications Sciences, Inc.  is a service oriented organization which provides Systems Programming and data center management services to customers with IBM mainframes.
